Our Chapter

Our Team

The Clarendon Hills Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society (CHIW) is compromised of 50 volunteers who are dedicated to fundraising and supporting the Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Chicago to make it's growing number of health care services possible to those in need. In 2019, the Clarendon Hills Infant Welfare Chapter had the second highest financial contribution to the Auxiliary Board of the Infant Welfare Society.

Our Mission

The Clarendon Hills Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society's mission is to provide support and fundraising to the Angel Harvey Family Health Center of Chicago, which in turn provides a full range of health care services for Chicago's under-served communities. Each year our main fundraising efforts for our chapter include Luminaria and the CHIW Benefit, Light Up the Night.

Our History

In 1948, nine women joined together to create the Clarendon Hills Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago benefiting mothers and children in need. Today, more than 13,000 patients benefit annually from CHIW and the growing number of chapters supporting the Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Chicago.
